My extremely late Ombre hair lol x_x

Yep I finally did it. I went blonde. I must say it wasn't as easy as I would have thought. I dyed my extensions as I did not want to bleach my own hair.

The look I was going for:

THE PROCESS:

I left the bleach (used normal hair store bought powder bleach and 30% liquid developer) for 45 minutes in total on the hair. Started on the tips of the hair and left that for 5 minutes. Then I proceeded to place the rest of the bleach higher up but not up to halfway for about 20 minutes. At halfway up my hair exactly where I wanted it to fade I put the bleach there and left that for 20 minutes. I put the bleach in steps so that there would be a fading gradient effect.

THE RESULTS:

*This is what it looked after rinsing and conditioning.

*NOTE: It is important to ALWAYS condition your hair after bleaching, as this strips your hair of it's essential oils and dry's it out, increasing breakage and shedding. I use a colour protect shampoo for damaged/bleached hair, olive oil conditioning mask and Moroccan argan oil.

Once straightened

CONCLUSION:
All in all I really love how it came out. I get alot of compliments with the occasional jab from a random individual about how I'm too dark-skinned to carry it off. But, I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion....
Anyways here's some pics of me out and about with my new blonde do :).

Body Chains

Ok. I am seriously in love with body chains. They can take a plain dress or top...or even swimsuit (if you dare ;) to the next level.

As seen on the picture on the right, it doesn't have to be around your torso. It can even be on legs, arms, shoulders, hands, tummy and feet which I reckon is pretty cool.

My best body chains, have to be the torso and shoulder ones. They have a certain 'je ne sais quoi' to them. I feel they are very flattering to a woman's (or man's) silhouette and remind me of military shoulder pads.

My best one has to be this military-inspired body chain above which can be purchased from http://itsnotme.bigcartel.com/product/body-armor for $50. If that's too pricey for you, ebay have alot of body chains reasonably priced. Here's one for £4:

ARMY JACKET 'SWAAG'

Ok so it seems like grunge is slowly making a comeback. Gone are the days when people thought emo or goth were freaky or weird, now everyone rocks these trends. First it was the creepers, then high waist shorts, the mini backpack, etc. now we find ourselves faced with the army jacket.

To be honest, I actually really dig it x_x . I love how it can take an outfit from ordinary to super cool lool.
The army jacket in the second photo is from urban outfitters but goes for a hefty £48. However, if your not eager to splurge soo much on an army jacket, there is always Ebay :) which constantly has new army jackets being added week after week. I recently got one from ebay for £4 including shipping!!
I'll post a pic as soon as it arrives so y'all can see how I like to style it, but till then these are pics of how others style it :)

And last but not least my best pic yet, because it is alot more wearable in everyday life:
